CFO of the Year
New Zealand’s CFO of the Year will demonstrate how they have positioned the role of CFO strategically within the company. They will be able to show innovation and key successes achieved in the past 12 months and into the future and show how this fits with the company's overall business strategy.
The CFO of the Year category is open to individuals in a Chief Financial Officer position. The entrant must be a New Zealand resident and hold full-time employment at the time the entries close.
Emerging Financial Manager of the Year
The Emerging Financial Manager of the Year award recognises, celebrates and encourages the exceptional finance talent of professionals under the age of 40 years. We are looking for the future CFO’s and leaders of the finance sector in New Zealand; people who have demonstrated outstanding finance leadership.
The Emerging Financial Manager of the Year category is open to individuals in a finance manager position. The entrant must be a New Zealand resident and hold full-time employment at the time the entries close. The entrant for this category must confirm that he/she has worked in a Finance Manager role for at least three years and is aged 40 years and under as at the closing date for submissions.
Finance Team Contribution to ESG Initiatives
New for 2020, this award celebrates finance teams that have supported the development, management and reporting of ESG initiatives in their organisations.
The Finance Team Contribution to ESG Initiatives category is open to any financial team operating in New Zealand at the time the entries close, and will recognise initiatives developed in the 12 months prior to the entry close.
Finance Team Culture & Talent Management Award
This award recognises outstanding team culture within an organisation’s finance team. Fostering an excellent team culture and retaining and nurturing outstanding staff can create a competitive advantage for the entire organisation. The aim is to celebrate organisations that recognise this and see recruitment, retention and training top talent as key part of the integral recipe for high performing finance teams.
The Finance Team of the Year category is open to any financial team operating in New Zealand at the time the entries close.
Financial Innovation Project of the Year
This award honours the achievements of organisations that have successfully planned and executed a major finance innovation project or initiative that has completed in the past 12 months. Using innovation to transform their business they will have produced a range of benefits for the organisation.
The Financial Innovation Project of the Year award is open to finance projects/initiatives completed in New Zealand, in the 12 months prior to the entry close.
Outstanding Contribution to Finance & Business
The Outstanding Contribution to Finance & Business Award is given to a high profile business person (including, but not necessarily a current or former CFO) from a public or private company whose contribution has significantly and uniquely impacted the greater New Zealand or global business community in a financial sense over the course of his or her career. He or she may live in New Zealand or abroad but must be a New Zealand citizen.
