Award Categories and Criteria
Following are the categories and criteria for the 2019 Awards programme.
CFO of the Year
The CFO of the Year category is open to individuals in a Chief Financial Officer position. The entrant must be a New Zealand resident and hold full-time employment at the time the entries close.
Finance Team of the Year
The Finance Team of the Year category is open to any financial team operating in New Zealand at the time the entries close.
Financial Innovation Project of the Year
The Financial Innovation Project of the Year award is open to finance projects/initiatives completed over the past year in New Zealand prior to the entry close.
Emerging Financial Manager of the Year
The Emerging Financial Manager of the Year category is open to individuals in a finance manager position. The entrant must be a New Zealand resident and hold full-time employment at the time the entries close.
The entrant for this category must confirm that he/she has worked in a Finance Manager role for at least three years and is aged 40 years and under as at the closing date for submissions.
Outstanding Contribution to Finance & Business
The Outstanding Contribution to Finance & Business Award is given to a high profile business person (including, but not necessarily a current or former CFO) from a public or private company whose contribution has significantly and uniquely impacted the greater New Zealand or global business community in a financial sense over the course of his or her career. He or she may live in New Zealand or abroad, but must be a New Zealand citizen.
